I hold a B.A. degree in Writing/Literature from George Fox University and a Master's degree in Library Science from Emporia State University. In addition, I have fifteen graduate level credits in English. For the past fifteen years I have worked in the education field--the past seven years working as a high school English teacher. I taught writing and research to students planning to enter college or the work-world.
Right now, I'm excited to work on putting into practice the research and writing skills I have honed over the years as a librarian and teacher. I'm just getting started in the freelance writing business, but with my research and writing background I believe I can be an asset to your writing needs.
In addition to the education and writing expertise I have, I also work full-time as a foster parent. This experience working with troubled and needy children and families can give me a unique ability to write in the field of child development and parenting.
